The first two games of the 2025 American League Championship Series did not go according to plan for the Toronto Blue Jays. They lost by scores of 3-1 and 10-3 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto over Thanksgiving Weekend. However sometimes a change of scenery can be a good thing. With the series shifting to Seattle for game three, the Blue Jays came away with a dominant 13-4 win. There is something the Blue Jays like about playing in Seattle. Earlier this season, the Blue Jays actually swept the Mariners in three games in the Pacific Northwest. Funny, at the time, they only reached .500. After the sweep, their record was 74 wins and 48 losses.

On Wednesday, the Blue Jays won with eight different players collecting a base hit. Canadian-Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who is a native of Montreal, Quebec led the way with four hits. He had two doubles, one home run and one single. The home run was a solo shot that went 406 feet and put the Blue Jays up 7-2 at the time.

It was one of five home runs the Blue Jays hit in game three. The others were from Andres Gimenez, George Springer, Alejandro Kirk and Addison Barger. The Blue Jays also got a great pitching performance from Shane Bieber, who had a quality start. He only gave up two earned runs in six innings and had eight strikeouts. Game four is Thursday.
