The Edmonton Oilers have evened their first round playoff series with the Los Angeles Kings at two games apiece. On Sunday night at Rogers Arena in Edmonton, Alberta, the Oilers defeated the Kings 4-3 on an unassisted overtime winner by Leon Draisaitl.

The Oilers were led offensively by Draisaitl, who had four points (one goal and three assists). Three Oilers had multi-point games. Defenseman Evan Bouchard of Oakville, Ontario scored twice, and Connor McDavid of Richmond Hill, Ontario had two assists. The other Oilers goal scorer was Canadian Olympic gold medalist Corey Perry of New Liskeard, Ontario. Perry won the gold medal for Canada at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

It was a strong comeback for the Oilers in the game. They were down 3-1 with less than 12 minutes left. Then Bouchard scored twice in regulation to tie the score. The game-tying goal came with 29 seconds left in the third period. The Oilers then went on the power play in overtime when Draidsaitl scored the game-winner.

The Oilers have been the better team in the third period in the series. They have outscored the Kings 11-5 in the final 20 minutes over the first four games. Game five is Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
