Team Canada has improved to a record of three wins and zero losses of the Olympic hockey tournament at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo. On Sunday, Canada clobbered France 10-2. With the win, Canada enters the knockout round of the Olympic men’s hockey tournament as the number one seed and a bye to the quarterfinals.

Four Canadians had three points. Canada had two other players with multi-point games. They were Washington Capitals right winger Tom Wilson of Toronto, Ontario (one goal and one assist) and Vegas Golden Knights right winger Mitch Marner of Markham, Ontario (two assists). The other four Canadian goal scorers were Colorado Avalanche defensemen Cale Makar of Calgary, Alberta and Devon Toews of Abbotsford, British Columbia, New York Islanders centre Bo Horvat of London, Ontario, and Tampa Bay Lightning left winger Brandon Hagel of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
