Raptors clobber the Heat 112-91 before the Christmas break

The Toronto Raptors are heading into the Christmas break with a dominant victory. On Tuesday, they defeated the Miami Heat 112-91 to improve to a record of 18 wins and 13 losses on the season. This was their fourth win this season by 20 points or more.

In Toronto’s win over Miami, six Raptors reached double digits in scoring. Scottie Barnes led the way with 27 points. Immanuel Quickley had 18 points, Sandro Mamukelashvili had 14 points, Brandon Ingram had 12 points, and Jamison Battle and Collin Murray-Boyles had 11 points each.

Murray-Boyles had his first career double-double in the National Basketball Association. He had 11 points and a single game career-high 12 rebounds. Murray-Boyles was the Raptors’s first round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. He was selected ninth overall. Murray-Boyles played his college basketball at South Carolina.

The Raptors won every quarter on Tuesday. They outscored Miami 21-16 in the first quarter, 30-28 in the second quarter, 31-23 in the third quarter, and 30-24 in the fourth quarter.

Toronto won their regular season opener by 20 points. They beat the Atlanta Hawks 138-118 on October 22. They also beat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-100 on November 4, and the Washington Wizards 140-110 on November 21.

The Raptors have the fourth best record in the Eastern Conference. They are currently behind Detroit, New York and Boston.
