Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray of Kitchener, Ontario scored 52 points on Wednesday in a 135-120 Nuggets win over the Indiana Pacers at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the fifth time in Murray’s NBA career he has reached the 50 point plateau. Three of the games came in the regular season and twice in the postseason.

On Wednesday, Murray made 19 of 25 field goals, 10 of 11 three-point shots, and four of five free throws. Murray also had six rebounds, four assists, one steal, and was a +23.

The first time Murray had 50 points in a game came on August 23, 2020 in game four of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. He accomplished the feat in a 129-127 loss to the Utah Jazz. In game six of the same series on August 30, 2020, Murray had 50 points again in a 119-107 Nuggets win to tie the series at three. Then in the regular season, Murray scored 50 points in a 120-103 Nuggets win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on February 19, 2021, and 55 points in a 132-121 Nuggets win over the Portland Trail Blazers on February 15, 2025.

With the win, the Nuggets improve to a record of 15 wins and six losses. They are tied with the San Antonio Spurs for fourth place in the Western Conference.
